Hello and welcome!
My name's Erika (she/her). I'm a Registered Social Service Worker, Psychotherapist based in Trenton, ON (#853610). I'm the owner of Care Connect Psychotherapy & Counselling Services and am extremely humbled to have a therapeutic space in the Bay of Quinte area.
As a therapeutic practitioner with lived experience, I’m passionate about guiding people through the unique process of self-discovery, personal growth, and healing. I am a queer, first-generation adult child of Hungarian immigrants. I am also a cycle breaker of intergenerational trauma. I integrate these aspects of my lived experience into the work I do with those under my care.
Complex trauma has taught me a lot about myself, and while my journey was a difficult one, having experienced abuse, estrangement, and deep shame throughout my life, from childhood to adulthood, I continue to THRIVE.
This website will be a hub for resources, insights, and support to help you navigate your journey with confidence and clarity. We'll walk along this journey together, side-by-side.
